I am a structural engineering Ph.D. student and I am a part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and archaeologists working to document, visualize and analyze pieces of cultural heritage. The goal of my research is to use non-destructive imaging techniques such as LiDAR, thermal imaging and geo-radar in order to document and assess the state of health of historical structures. My hope is to develop diagnostic methodologies that will aid in the preservation of cultural heritage monuments.
